On entering the museum, all visitors are offered the use of a free audioguide, which allows them to listen to the commentaries in their own language, as well as the film voice-overs of the Animated Presentation.

In the “Adventure of the Railways” part of the museum, the audioguide allows visitors to select and listen to specific commentaries about the various locomotives and carriages that represent the most significant moments in the history of the railways.

The audioguide is like a personal guide, and with several levels of commentary available, it allows everyone to discover the Cité du Train at their leisure.

A fun and enriching way to discover the Battlefield through a series of puzzles. Learn through play: a free booklet of games for children aged between 7 and 12 years!

The book and gift shop, situated at the museum’s exit, contains a wide selection of books, postcards and quality gifts reflecting the collections on display in the Cité du Train.
There is also an area for serious collectors, which offers a selection of artwork, scale-models and luxury-edition books.
And last but not least, there is a choice of miniature trains and toys for children of various ages.
