"Behind the scene" with a locomotive

With the aim once again of learning how a locomotive works, visitors can gain a unique perspective of these machines by passing underneath a steam locomotive via an inspection pit, just like in a maintenance depot, thus discovering the secrets of the train and its component parts.

The animated model

A large-scale miniature railway, installed in the old hall, presents a diorama full of inspiring scenes. Visitors will see towns, countryside and mountains, as well as a large number of past and current trains that run on the railway.
